Innishvilla 2 - 0 Richmond
Schoolgirls U14 Cup.
Played in superb conditions innishvilla beat richmond 2-0 in u14 evening echo cup. Playing with the breeze in the first half innishvilla pinned richmond back and created a lot of chances without scoring. Richmond defended very well and broke a number of times to trouble the home defence. The 2nd half innishvilla opened the game and with jordan o connell and rachel mc carthy playing superbly they scored the opening goal through jordan o connell. Rachel mc carthy got the 2nd goal to kill off richmond who never gave up. Best for richmond sara morley, aine hughes, julie poland and liadin o sullivan. Also playing well for innishvilla leona murphy, jenifer murphy and ciara richardson.

Innishvilla 2 : 0 Ballinhassig

Jake O'Donoghue Park 28/11/09

The game was played in reasonable conditions after the monsoon season we’ve had recently. Innishvilla started very well with Leona Murphy and Emear Cummins excelling. They took the lead in the first half when Meaghan Collins flicked home a superb goal.

Ballinhassig came storming back and put some pressure on the Innishvilla defence which resulted in a penalty which was missed by Capei McPheeson.

In the second half both sides put some great moves together, one of which ended in Jordan O’Connell putting Innishvilla 2 up which was the final result.

Best for Ballinhassig was Anna Harrington, Casey O’Sullivan, Rebecca Moynihan.

Innishvilla 8 : 0 Richmond

Jake O’Donoghue Park 03/10/09

Played in superb conditions. Innishvilla played a Richmond team unfortunate to be short a number of players and had to play with 8 players.

Innishvilla had two hat-tricks from Aoibhean Harte – continuing her great form from last year and Leona Murphy. Also getting amongst the goals were Eleanor Murphy and Rachel McCarthy. Richmond to their credit never gave up and had outstanding performances from Aine Hughes, Judy Murphy and Aisling McCarthy. Meghan O’Brien and Ciara McCarthy played well for Innishvilla.
